The Friends of the Library - Winthrop by the Sea is an organization dedicated to the improvement of the Winthrop Public Library and Museum for the present and the future of our community. We believe that the library is a key part of our small community and it benefits us all to keep working to enhance and improve it.

Membership to the Friends of the Library - Winthrop by the Sea is free. We take donations year-round and use the money towards enhancing library services for our patrons.* We also welcome anyone who would like to help keep our beloved Bookends running smoothly by donating their time to keeping it organized.
